Labadie Walleye Tournament

Labadie is pleased to announce that there will be a 6th Annual Walleye Tournamanet this year!  This years tournament will once again take place at Linwood Beach Marina on May 30, 2009.

Each year the Labadie Walleye Tournament gets bigger and better. 2009 is no exception! 150 boats will complete in one of Michigan’s best walleye tournaments. The Labadie Walleye Tournament is open to both amateurs and professionals.  Note - an amateur has won almost every year!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this years tournament.  The weather was choppy but the weather was great and the fish were biting.

Just a reminder that because of the amount of boats we have to check, to be sure to arrive at Linwood Beach Marina before 5:30am.  Captain meeting is at 6am sharp!

Tim Hortons doughnuts and coffee will be provided to help start the morning right!

As everyone knows, that has participated in the Labadie Walleye Tournament in the past, we want to make sure that everyone leaves with some great prizes even if you don’t make the money places.  We are happy to announce that we have received sponsorship from Meijer’s in Bay City!  The collection of great door prizes has begun.  We are look forward to another great tournament.

The entry forms for the 2008 Labadie Walleye Tournament have been mailed out to the participants from past years.  If you did not receive one and/or would like one click here to download a pdf version.  There is a limit to the number of boats and entry is processes on a first come/first serve basis so get your entry form in today!

This years Labadie Walleye Tournament will take place on Saturday, May 31st.

As usual we have HUGE prizes including $2,500 for First Place and a $600 prize for largest fish!

Here is the break-down:
$1,500 - 2nd place
$700 - 3rd place
$600 - 4th place
$500 - 5th place
with cash prizes up to 35th place!

And as everyone knows who has participated in the past every boat will end up with some great door prize.
